Vectis Housing are a community-based organisation, deeply rooted in the unique landscape and needs of the Isle of Wight. They are seeking a Board Member with a strong background in public sector treasury or debt management. Meeting six times a year, they are looking for applicants with:

  • A proven track record in public sector treasury or debt management, ideally in Social Housing
  • A strong understanding of financial governance and risk assessment
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • A commitment to the values of Vectis Housing and a genuine desire to serve the Isle of Wight community

There will also be a requirement for the successful candidate to attend two Audit and Assurance Board meetings a year. The post is a voluntary one, though reasonable expenses can be paid.
