Project Design Engineer

Project Design Engineer Location: Didcot Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 An opportunity has opened for a Project Design Engineer (Mechanical bias) to join a manufacturing company based in Didcot. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background within Mechanical Design and be an expert in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modelling and reporting. Project Design Engineer Key Skills: * Experienced Mechanical Engineer or Project Engineer with design * Excellent FEA (Finite Element Analysis) experience * CAD Software knowledge – 3D CAD packages like Solidworks, CATIA or Inventor * Any project management or project engineering experience * Mechanical material testing knowledge * Excellent documentation and report writing knowledge Project Design Engineer Responsibilities: * Provide design and project engineering assistance with the engineering team * Designing composites for various industries – automotive, motorsport, aerospace * Conduct FEA modelling for products * Generating reports and updating company MRP/ERP systems * CAD Design, re-design and providing solutions and drawings for customers * Provide assistance on material testing * Project management and engineering If you could be interested in finding out more about the role as a Project Design Engineer, please apply with your latest CV
