Our client, a rapidly expanding 3PL organisation, is looking to build out a new management structure within their Peterborough operation. This will be a fast-paced role supporting the Operations Director and looking to make improvements across the warehouse operation.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop a culture of excellence where team members thrive and reach their full potential.
• Strategically prioritise workflow to ensure flawless, on-time order processing.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements that boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Look to improve stock control and accuracy through rigorous controls and proactive management.
• Skilfully balance workloads during peak seasons, including deployment of temporary staff.
• Create and enforce a zero-compromise safety environment.
• Generate insightful productivity analytics that drive strategic decision-making.
• Execute specialised kitting requirements with precision and respond proactively to client needs.

Person Specification

To be successful in the role of Warehouse Manager, you will need:

• Proven success navigating the unique challenges of 3PL e-commerce operations.
• Track record of building, motivating and developing high-performing warehouse teams.
• Exceptional numerical aptitude with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Unwavering commitment to meeting service level agreements with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; you anticipate challenges and engineer innovative solutions.
• Flawless communication skills and can influence at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong technical capabilities with warehouse management systems and productivity tools.
