What you’ll be doing:
As a Systems Engineer you will take a leading role interfacing with our customers, understanding their requirements and keeping them involved during product development. The ability to influence a diverse and highly skilled community of engineers, whilst also interfacing with non-engineering functions across the business will be essential. As well as managing a team and senior stakeholders, you will also have the confidence to work closely with other Engineering Leads through the integration lifecycle, proposing, developing, and delivering engineering products and solutions that meet expected standards as well as meeting our customers’ needs.
Your skills and experiences:
- Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle
- Evidence based experience in an engineering integration environment. (Applicants encouraged from Aerospace, Automotive, Rail and Nuclear Industries)
- Experience of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets (Teamcenter PLM, DOORs, CAMEO, MATLAB, ANSYS)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Good communication skills across all levels of an organisation
- Self-starter and pro-active but with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Accreditation to the International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE), or equivalent body/institute, is desirable but not essential
