Currently looking for a motivated professional to join the team based in Ilford as a Design Manager. Looking for a person who is able to communicate well, liaise with and advise other divisions on technical matters, and coordinate all technical information on projects from inception to completion.
Looking for an individual who has good knowledge within a diverse range of sectors, able to really hit the ground running, self-motivated, proactive, and able to demonstrate the ability to coordinate the design process unaided.
The company has a strong network and financial strength with technical expertise to undertake some of the most significant contracts and holds a high portfolio of work across the UK.
Key Attributes
- Involved in ESFA frameworks.
- Capable of delivering projects from inception through to delivery and handover.
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
- Experience in a variety of sectors such as education, residential, and health care projects.
- Good knowledge of planning techniques, procurement and management systems, risk management, life cycle cost, and value creation.
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in a management role.
- Enthusiastic and able to drive a team.
- A people person who communicates well.
- Methodical, degree qualified in construction or equivalent.
- A good working knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC Technical Standards.
