Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as a Senior Brand Manager. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the brand strategy for new and existing products, contributing to the growth of brand awareness and market share. The successful candidate will oversee the entire lifecycle of brand initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategy, KPIs, and regulatory compliance. The team is relatively small but highly dynamic, and the work environment is representative of an expanding company, hence requiring an adaptive and pragmatic mindset. Coaching and mentoring to support continuous learning and professional development will be provided and tailored to individual needs.
You’ll need to have experience within a similar senior B2B Brand Manager position, and it would be highly advantageous to have experience dealing with the US healthcare system or US markets in general (but certainly not crucial).
Key Responsibilities:- Brand strategy development: Develop, execute, and refine brand strategy for new and existing products. Define brand positioning, messaging platform, and customer segmentation. Aim to grow brand awareness and market share.
- Execution oversight: Oversee the execution of brand initiatives, materials, and events by the marketing team. Ensure alignment with brand strategy, KPIs, and ROI expectations.
- Market intelligence: Acquire market intelligence from internal and external sources. Utilize insights to develop actionable initiatives aligned with the brand strategy.
- Relationship management: Maintain internal relationships with sales and Cycle Vita teams. Build external relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, advocacy groups, and suppliers.
- Data utilisation: Use CRM data for analysing behaviours and trends. Provide analysis and actions contributing to the brand strategy.
- Budget and compliance: Ensure projects are on budget and reported to the Line Manager. Deliver measurable marketing initiatives while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Training and reporting: Train the sales team to represent brands according to the brand strategy. Provide regular reports and updates on the progress and impact of marketing initiatives.
- Scientific or marketing degree with industry experience (healthcare/pharmaceutical)
- Strong b2b marketing/brand management experience at senior level (3-5 years)
- Proven strategic thinker with project management capabilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proactive approach, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously or in a team
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Track record of successful brand building
- Experience in the US healthcare and/or pharmaceutical market
- Experience with global, cross-cultural teams
- Marketing qualification, MBA, or relevant industry experience
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Projects and Asana
