Despatch Administrator – Dispatch Administrator – Manufacturing – Construction – Brownhills Brooklyn Recruitment currently have an exciting role available for a Despatch Administrator / Despatch Coordinator / Dispatch Administrator in the Chasetown area on the Staffordshire / West Midlands boarder. This role is with a well established company that very much has a family feel to it. As Despatch Administrator / Despatch Coordinator / Dispatch Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are despatched on time and within budget. Your duties will include: * Preparing all despatch documentation * Comparing haulier pricing and getting quotes * Booking deliveries * Obtaining estimated delivery times (ETA’s) * Investigating complaints and raising claims with hauliers * Some reception duties * Creating a daily despatch manifest * Other admin duties as required * Ensuring all Health and Safety standards are adhered to * Other duties as required. To be suitable for this role of Despatch Administrator / Despatch Coordinator / Dispatch Administrator you should previously have held a despatch / transport role ideally within a manufacturing company. You should also have strong IT skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. The hours of work for this Despatch Administrator / Despatch Coordinator / Dispatch Administrator role are Mon – Thurs 8.45am – 5pm and Fri 8.30am – 4.30pm.
