We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Networking / Cyber Security Engineer for one of the fastest growing Engineering Consultancies who support some of the UK's biggest projects in the Energy & Utilities sector.
Responsibilities:
- Leading in the design, configuration and development of a wide range of network infrastructure projects.
- Lead project workstreams.
- Deploy and configure virtual machine servers.
- Upgrade and configure site SCADA Systems and/or AVEVA System platform.
- Hardware replacements including firewalls, switches and servers.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate a track record of expertise in Networking, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Cyber Security or related field.
- Ideally knowledge of Energy or Utilities sectors.
- Cyber security knowledge and experience.
- Hands-on experience with AVEVA and/or SCADA Systems.
- Strong understanding of network architectures including IP addressing, VLAN usage, virtualisation technology.
