A prominent defense firm is seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of workers' compensation litigation, from intake through settlement or trial. Duties:
- Manage all aspects of workers' compensation defense litigation, from intake to settlement or trial.
- Prepare and file necessary legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials as required.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts to facilitate case progress.
- Advise clients on legal options and strategies for resolving workers' compensation claims.
- Handle case management and ensure timely deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense or related legal field.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated trial experience is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
