Maintenance Technician/Handyman

Temporary Maintenance Technician/Handyman – £16 – £17p/h Newcastle Upon Tyne Immediate Start, 9:00 – 17:30 Monday-Friday My client provides high quality student housing, in both shared houses and apartments, in 24 cities across the UK, leading the way in offering exceptional student accommodation. I am recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team to manage repairs and maintenance across their portfolio of student houses in Newcastle. Duties include: Providing high standard repairs, maintenance and decorating across a portfolio of high quality student housing Working and interacting with student customers to rectify maintenance issues Completing planned and reactive maintenance Undertaking health and safety checks  Carrying out statutory compliance inspections where necessary Energy and utility management including meter reading and broadband service management Basic seasonal garden maintenance  What we need from you: Full, clean driving license Experience completing repairs and planned maintenance Experience in painting  Experience in basic maintenance (carpentry, plumbing and electrical) Excellent communication and customer service  Proactive and positive attitude to work under own initiative Strong IT skills with the ability to use IOS on Iphone and IPad and experience with Microsoft Office We strive to provide the best quality to our client so if you believe you would be a great asset to the team, please apply now!
