We are seeking a talented, ambitious and technically competent individual to join our Corporate Tax team in Bristol. This role will provide tax advisory services for a broad portfolio of clients such as large corporate organisations and owner managed businesses. You will be joining a team that has an established book of business that you can take ownership of as well as the opportunity to grown the business further. As a Corporate Tax Director, your responsibilities will include among others: With the support of the Head of Department and other staff, responsibility for developing relationships and new business opportunities to provide a range of tax and other services too. Overall responsibility and accountability for a group of clients, with excellent technical expertise in your field. Skilled at leading and managing the relationship with clients, with the aim of developing new business from your current client base and beyond. Responsibility for encouraging and developing, associate directors and other staff members. Ensuring excellent client service whilst minimising conduct risk. Contributing to the management of your department and/or office if relevant. Qualifications Customer focus – core to your role is to provide an excellent service to clients. Judgement – the firm relies on your judgement in the services supplied to clients. This has to be delivered as per the client’s needs, technically excellent, commercial and on time. Technical expertise – strong technical leadership and maintaining your technical competence is critical to ensuring clients receive an excellent service. Networking – you are skilled at developing and growing relationships in the wider market and leveraging these to create opportunities for the business. Communication – you communicate both verbally and in writing in an engaging and purposeful manner. Leadership – you will help drive and lead a culture of continuous development, be able to identify future talent and act as mentor and sponsor. Education/Qualifications: Degree educated Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser Additional Information Key experience & skills: Extensive knowledge and practical experience of business tax services to clients within a variety of sectors, gained within a professional services firm or boutique advisory practice. Proven complex client experience and client handling abilities. Demonstrable experience of generating and developing new business and key relationships. Strong technical leadership.
