The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Forming a bridge between the commercial finance team and the business, the Finance Business Partner will support department leads by producing management information and ad hoc financial analysis to enhance their insight around performance and improve results.

The role will include business partnering with the operational functions, production of reporting, and supporting the Head of FP&A with ad hoc analysis.

The role will act as the principal business partner for all the business’s operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead business partner for all operational functions.
  2. Weekly/monthly reporting on performance.
  3. Identify operational issues and model business cases for efficiencies.
  4. Subject matter expert on systems directly linked to Finance team, with the aim to create improvement/efficiencies to processes.
  5. Assist with the preparation of the budget/re-forecast.
  6. Other ad hoc financial analysis as required.

  1. Experience in a relevant position and now looking to progress career as a finance business partner.
  2. Strong communication skills, ability to communicate in an engaging, clear and concise manner.
  3. Collaborative mindset, with the ability to build strong working relationships within the Finance team and broader organisation.
  4. Strong analytical skills, adept at managing and manipulating large data sets efficiently.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Willingness to step into different roles as needed, contribute to team problem-solving, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  7. Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.

Essential Qualifications

  1. Qualified/newly-qualified accountant.
  2. Use of NetSuite advantageous, but not essential.
  3. Use of Hive advantageous, but not essential.
