Role: Salesforce Revenue Cloud Technical Architect

Job Type: Permanent

Location: London, UK (Remote/Hybrid)

Number of hours: 40 hours per week – full time (standard)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with clients/business leaders/process owners to lead projects and work on Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ/Contracts/Billing) solution.
  • Ability to guide customer towards uses of standard out of the box software functionality to meet business requirements instead of relying on custom code solutions.
  • Understand platform limitations and design alternatives to work around limitations.
  • Provide pre-sales support as requested and participate in potential customer proof of concept (POC).
  • Ability to lead/facilitate design and modeling sessions with the client.
  • Lead the creation of project deliverables, spanning from process to system design elements with an emphasis on functional and technical design.
  • Functioning as Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ+Contracts+Billing) product specialist within the organization and industry.
  • Participate in various communities and speak at industry events.
  • Help to setup Salesforce Revenue Cloud center of excellence as part of TCS Salesforce Quote-to-Cash practice.
  • Understand, design, supervise, and create technical configurations using Configuration product’s tools, languages scripts-based technologies.
  • Ability to design, implement, and test leading-edge Quote and Product Configuration integrations with SFDC.
  • If needed, coordinate developer tasks on large projects; lead design and code reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Provides guidance on all phases of SDLC and the impact of Salesforce CPQ & Billing, as needed.
  • As required, willingness to travel (up to 75% of time).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing) product, and experience with design/architect duties and full life cycle SalesForce.com implementations, with strong expertise in at least two of the following areas/modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud with mandatory experience in Salesforce CPQ+Billing / Conga application.
  • Experience with project implementations with Salesforce CPQ, Contracts, and Billing that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) of the Salesforce platform.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Lead to Cash process with expertise in Quote-to-Cash, Configuration, Product Catalog/modeling, Pricing, Quoting, and CLM functional areas.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and map these into Salesforce CPQ, Contracts, and Billing architectural capabilities.
  • Share best practices and be consultative to clients throughout the duration of the project- act as a trusted partner.
  • Participate and lead, when needed, project meetings with the customer.
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Billing Academy, and Quote to Cash certification.
  • Salesforce platform developer/admin certification including Salesforce development experience with Apex, VisualForce, and Force.com.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience with Commerce, Configuration, Output, SFDC integration, product catalog/price list integration.
  • Good knowledge of Angular JS, Web 2.0 Development (JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, Struts).
  • Experience in CRM tool set and have worked with JavaScript, Java, Rules Engines, Object Modeling, or XML.
  • Understanding of frameworks like React, Angular, etc. are an advantage.
  • JIRA experience.
