We are currently recruiting caring, compassionate Bank Health Care Support Workers to support our patients and service users within our Inpatient Mental Health Services., Under the supervision of a qualified practitioner the post holder will implement a range of individual and group activities. The post holder will be required to use their initiative when working independently on the wards and are expected to report any clinical progress or change to a qualified practitioner.
The post holder will work to assist with the continuity of care for service users on their journey through the acute service.
The post holder will demonstrate an attitude which respects and values service users’ choice and works along side them and their carers to ensure they are at the centre of care planning.
The post holder will carry out assigned tasks involving direct/indirect service user care and support service users under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.
We are keen to receive applications from experienced Health Care Assistants, who are considerate, supportive individuals who listen and care.Our Bank is a register of healthcare professionals, who support the clinical teams across the Trust, providing short term adhoc cover during times of short staffing or increased clinical commitments.As a bank worker you will be able to undertake work assignments within a comprehensive range of mental health services.Successful applicants will receive good rates of pay, work within a highly supportive environment and be able to work a variety of shifts, predominantly early and late shift patterns.
