As an Assistant Programme Director, you’ll be a dynamic and forward thinking individual with managerial experience, commercial awareness and a proven track record of achieving targets. You’ll have significant experience in a corporate fitness environment with good presentation and effective communication skills.

As an Assistant Programme Director you will be responsible for:

  • Being the lead operational manager of a fast-paced, modern Fitness Centre
  • Finance management including profit and loss reports, invoicing and payroll reporting
  • Developing relationships with key client stakeholders and ensuring their needs are met
  • Line management of key heads of department and leadership of the wider team
  • Preparation of reports and presentations including monthly performance and quarterly contract reviews
  • Ensuring HR and people policies are adhered to amongst the team
  • Supporting the Senior Programme Director in all areas of operations, strategic business development and achieving KPIs
  • Shaping our wellbeing agenda, managing key business development projects and delivering best-in-class innovation
  • Assisting promotion, retention and attraction of members at the Fitness Centre

The Person

To succeed as an Assistant Programme Director you will have:

  • Experience leading a large team with empathy, emotional intelligence whilst driving high standards
  • An adaptable communication style, tailoring written and verbal communications as per stakeholder needs
  • Commercial awareness and proven track record of achieving targets
  • A fitness background with management experience working in a corporate or commercial fitness environment
  • Strategic and innovative thinker with a passion for business development
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work including advanced IT skills and being comfortable analysing and presenting data
