Job Overview :

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Securities Associate or Of Counsel to join its Investment Funds Group. This position requires a minimum of 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings, with a focus on commercial real estate law, including real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The ideal candidate will work with various clients, including public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors. The role is flexible and can be based in multiple U.S. office locations.

Duties :

  • Manage structured securities offerings with a focus on commercial real estate law.
  • Represent clients in real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review complex legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions.
  • Advise public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide strategic advice on complex real estate issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in real estate transactions.
  • Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and produce high-quality work.

Requirements :

  • At least 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings in real estate law.
  • Experience in a top-tier law firm or similar legal environment is preferred.
  • Strong track record in representing clients in complex real estate transactions.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong business judgment and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within teams.
  • Effective client relationship management.

Education :

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications :

  • Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which the position is located.

Skills :

  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
