Accept Recruitment is looking for a Trade Waste/Wheelie Bin Coordinator for our client based in Leicester (LE4). This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and expanding waste management company in a varied role covering transport, operations, customer service, and administration.
Salary: £30,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Location: On-site, Leicester (LE4)
Benefits: On-site parking, company pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and managing wheelie bin collections efficiently
- Coordinating with drivers to ensure smooth operations
- Handling customer service inquiries and resolving issues
- Managing contracts, invoicing, and price matrices
- Liaising with sales, finance, and third-party suppliers
- Updating and maintaining fleet management systems
Requirements:
- Strong customer service and communication skills (phone, email, and face-to-face)
- Organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good geographical knowledge of Leicestershire and surrounding areas
- PC literate (Excel, Google Maps, fleet management systems)
- Experience in transport planning, waste management, or similar roles preferred (but transferable skills considered)
