We are recruiting a Senior Business Administrator who will join our administrative team working in Adult Social Care Financial Services. We have recently developed a new and exciting team with our department. You will be central to this, often acting as the first point of contact for the Department.
As well as providing administrative support to the team, you will also be responsible for dealing with a range of communications including telephone calls and emails, resolving queries, or passing these on to the responsible team for resolution.
You will maintain local recording and tracking systems, be proactive and take responsibility for your own work. You will be a key part of the service delivery and work towards achieving the best outcomes for our clients.
We are looking for someone who:
- has a good telephone manner
- is able to work with a range of customers with different support needs
- is confident using a wide range of IT systems including Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook, Excel etc.
- ability to work on your own initiative, but also as part of the team

Initially, whilst undergoing induction and training, this role will be mostly office based at St Mary’s House in Eastbourne.
The team will be responsible for work completed in our office at St Mary’s House in Eastbourne. This means you will be required to work in the office at least one or two days a week and more when required. The remainder of your work can be completed from home.
