We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Finance Director to join our leadership team. You will oversee financial management, strategic planning, and commercial operations, playing a key role in ensuring the financial health and growth of the InterGo Group. As a strategic partner to the Group Managing Director and other senior leaders, you will provide financial insights and commercial expertise to drive decision-making and business success. Key Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement the financial strategy, aligning it with business goals. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports, monitor performance, and present insights to stakeholders. Commercial Operations: Collaborate across departments to optimize commercial performance, analyze market trends, and support contract negotiations. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and effective communication. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity, oversee credit control, and optimize working capital. Risk Management & Compliance: Develop risk management frameworks, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee internal audit functions. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management: Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leaders and manage relationships with external stakeholders. Systems & Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve financial systems, implement new technologies, and drive process improvements. Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling. Commercial Insight: Strong commercial awareness with the ability to link financial performance to strategy. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team. Strategic Thinking: Ability to anticipate financial trends and challenges. Communication: Excellent presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills focused on continuous improvement. Industry Knowledge: Experience in distribution & fulfillment, with knowledge of supply chain logistics. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred. Certification: Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Experience: 10+ years in finance, with at least 5 years in senior leadership. Industry experience in distribution is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
