Are you an experienced Indirect Tax Manager looking to take ownership in a dynamic, international environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing business with global reach, cutting-edge products, and a strong culture of innovation. As the Indirect Tax Manager, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely submission of indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll also support finance and commercial teams with tax advice and play a key role in the ongoing development of an ERP system (SAP S4 Hana), including integration of a new tax engine.
About the role:
- Oversee VAT compliance across the UK, Europe, and selected international markets (e.g. Canada, New Zealand, South Africa)
- Lead on VAT returns, Intrastat, and EC Sales Listings
- Act as internal advisor on indirect tax issues, working closely with Finance, Commercial, and Procurement teams
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global VAT regulations and ensure ongoing compliance
- Support ERP system development and reporting automation
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors (e.g. KPMG, RASM)
- Respond to tax authority audits and queries
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on VAT matters
About You:
- Fully qualified ATT, or part/fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA (or relevant degree)
- Strong experience with UK and international VAT compliance
- Proven ability to work across multiple jurisdictions
- Confident with Excel and financial systems (SAP knowledge a bonus)
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
