The Role

We are looking for a leader for children’s social work interventions who can lead the continuum of statutory intervention, from multi-disciplinary child protection responses, to care experienced services.

The successful candidate will be pivotal to our improvement agenda, ensuring that we improve the difference we make to children, whilst also implementing the Families First reform agenda. They will have the energy, confidence and passion to drive high standards and an ability to bring partners and colleagues with us.

Working with the Director of Children’s Services, and the wider senior leadership team, you will contribute to a sustainable and enduring turnaround of services, building a service offer for the future for all children and families in Tameside.
