Graduate Civil Engineer

Our client is a well-established civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors. With a turnover of £40m, they provide expertise in infrastructure, highways, industrial, commercial, flood defence, bridges/structures, and car parks. Role Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join a dynamic team and gain hands-on experience across a variety of civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of project delivery, from planning and design to site execution and completion. Key Responsibilities: * Assisting with project planning, design, and execution. * Supporting senior engineers in site management and ensuring project deadlines are met. * Conducting site inspections and surveys. * Assisting with technical reports and documentation. * Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. * Gaining exposure to a wide range of civil engineering disciplines, including highways, infrastructure, and flood defence. Requirements: * A minimum 2:1 degree in Civil Engineering (or expected to graduate with this qualification). * Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. * Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant engineering software (preferred but not essential). * A valid UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
