Our client is looking for a proactive shift engineering team leader to oversee mill operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This hands-on role requires strong leadership and technical expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with full site responsibility during shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off).

Key duties include:

  • Executing production plans
  • Maintaining Health & Safety compliance (ISO45001)
  • Optimizing machine performance

  • Health & Safety qualifications, such as IOSH Managing Safely, FLT Licence & First Aid certification (3-day course) preferred
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a forward-thinking and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging at all levels
  • Engineering background or time-served engineer qualification is an advantage
