Position: Solicitor (5+ Years Qualified in Northern Ireland)

Salary: £40,000-£60,000 Gross per annum (commensurate with experience)

Contract: Permanent

Role Overview:

Fox Law, a leading and progressive law firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Solicitor in Northern Ireland with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an exciting and progressive rural legal practice. Experience in any legal area will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Meeting with clients: Gathering information and explaining legal matters.
2. Legal documentation: Preparing and reviewing legal documents.
3. Court representation: Defending clients in court if they have extended rights of audience.
4. Research: Investigating complex legal questions and previous cases.
5. Client advice: Advising clients on legal actions and appropriate behavior.
6. Liaising with barristers: Instructing barristers on cases that go to court.
7. Training: Supervising and training junior solicitors and paralegals.
8. Staying updated: Keeping up to date with new developments in the law.
9. Relationship building: Building strong relationships with clients.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Problem-solving: Ability to analyze and solve complex legal issues.
2. Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
3. Research: Strong research and analytical skills.
4. Professionalism: Integrity and respect for confidentiality.
5. A qualified Solicitor with a current practicing certificate in Northern Ireland with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Northern Ireland holding a practising certificate from the Law Society of Northern Ireland for a consecutive period of the recent 3 years period.
