I'm in need of a dedicated and resourceful Multi-Skilled Engineer to join my client's Maintenance department at their busy manufacturing facility in Birmingham. The role involves maintaining and improving production efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Client Details: My client is a large organisation in the food manufacturing industry, renowned for their commitment to quality and innovation. Their state-of-the-art facility in Birmingham is a hub for producing foods that satisfy and delight consumers.

Description:

  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
  • Developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve production efficiency.
  • Working collaboratively with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to meet project objectives.
  • Understanding and applying industry best practices and standards in all work activities.
  • Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
  • Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Providing technical support to other departments within the organisation.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technology and practices in the FMCG industry.

On 4 Off (2 Days 2 Nights) - 12 Hours

Profile: A successful 'Multi-Skilled Engineer/Maintenance Technician' should have:

  • A recognised Engineering qualification (Level 3 as a minimum).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with various engineering software.
  • Proficiency in project management and ability to work under pressure.
