About our client
This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist private equity investor with an international focus. As part of a growing team, you will play a key role and gain hands-on experience in fund finance, performance reporting, portfolio monitoring, valuations, and analytics across international jurisdictions. This role will work closely with external stakeholders across fund operations and support management in looking to improve controls and processes. This role will assist the wider operational team on supporting the deal process and fundraising activities.
What the job involves
- Review and oversight of externally produced fund financial statements
- Production and review of investor reporting, and communication on investor queries
- Supporting the wider team on the coordination of the valuation and audit process
- Oversight of fund model and liquidity management
- Support the wider team in portfolio monitoring activities across performance, reporting and data analysis
- Supporting management in the implementation of new systems across fund finance and portfolio management
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements in fund operations and portfolio analytics
- Support the finance team in the preparation of material for fundraising activities
- Support the wider finance team in the transaction process for deal activity
- Support the wider business on an ad-hoc basis
Who we are looking for
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant
- Experience in a private markets fund finance team
- Experience in private equity portfolio monitoring controls and processes is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Strong understanding of MS Office and accounting or portfolio systems
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, team-oriented, and problem-solving mindset
