An exciting opportunity for a Physical Design Engineer to join a fabless IP/IC design company looking to grow their Backend team. They are recognised as a world-class developer of high-speed mixed signal IPs and ASIC custom solutions. They have a UK design centre focused on research and development of customised GPU solutions and have plans to grow this team significantly this year. This role would suit someone who wants to work in a ‘start-up’ environment but with the backing of a large global business.

Requirements:

  • Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in 5+ successful tapeouts
  • Experience working across the whole flow from RTL to GDSII
  • Knowledge of digital hardware descriptive languages such as VHDL or Verilog
  • Experience with low power implementation
  • Experience with Cadence or Synopsys tools
