The Role

As PPC Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimising paid search strategies with a clear focus on high-quality lead generation. You’ll work closely with the wider marketing, CRO, and sales teams to ensure leads are not just plentiful – but relevant and conversion-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day management of Google Ads and Bing campaigns, with a core focus on lead generation
  • Build, test, and optimise search, display, and remarketing campaigns
  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with content and CRO teams to align landing pages with campaign objectives
  • Monitor performance and optimise campaigns for key metrics: CPL, CVR, and lead quality
  • Create regular reports with insights and recommendations for wider stakeholders
  • Stay on top of industry trends and platform updates to drive innovation and efficiency

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on PPC experience, with a strong track record in lead generation
  • Deep understanding of Google Ads (Search, Display, Discovery), with experience in Bing Ads a bonus
  • Comfortable working with GA4, Looker Studio, and conversion tracking setups (GTM, CRM integrations, etc.)
  • Strong analytical mindset – confident using data to drive decisions and improve performance
  • Experience working with longer or multi-step funnels, ideally in high-consideration or B2B markets
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once
  • Clear communicator, able to explain performance insights and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience using lead scoring or qualification models (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo)
  • Familiarity with paid social platforms (e.g. Meta, LinkedIn) for integrated lead gen strategies
  • Understanding of CRO principles and landing page best practices
  • A/B testing experience across copy, creative and targeting
