I am supporting a large independent provider who provides services to the NHS. Due to growth, they now have a new role Head of Workforce Planning. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, friendly team and support a number of key pieces of work. This will include the development of strategic workforce modelling, providing insight and coordination for the workforce planning and transformation agenda across the organisation.

The client is looking for an experienced workforce professional who has strong analytical skills. You will be familiar with workforce systems (Health Roster/Optima) implementation and have an analytical background. What is important for my client is that someone coming into this role is flexible and can work at pace. You will become the SME in the business for workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of the annual workforce planning across the portfolio.
  • Complete analysis of the current situation and the future situation regarding workforce.
  • Present ideas and solutions to senior management.
  • Engage with various internal and external teams to build collaboration.

An analytical background would be really beneficial. Whilst the head office is in the North, my client is open to anywhere in the UK as this will mostly be remote working. There will be a need to travel to sites across the UK for business needs, which will of course be expensed.
