MMP Consultancy is currently seeking an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to work on an interim contract with a public sector housing organisation in North West London.

£320 per day (LTD Inside IR35). Required to travel and attend site and office.

Key Duties

  • Inspection reports: findings, causation, remedials, conclusions, and photos - SORs to be utilized.
  • Drafting of Scott's Schedules.
  • Focus on case management and closure.
  • Strong knowledge of legal disrepair protocols, including the Landlord and Tenant Act (Section 11), Section 9A, and the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act.
  • Post-inspection tracker updates and completion.
  • Responses to MP inquiries, Councillor complaints, and Ombudsman cases.

Experience / Qualifications

  • HNC, HND, BTEC HND or higher, in a building discipline, or over 5 years of hands-on experience in related repairs surveying/construction from a trade background.
  • Experience managing legal disrepair cases.
  • Good understanding of damp and structural issues.
