EPM Senior engineer

Position: Oracle EPM Consultant

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Finance SMEs to understand their business objectives and EPM requirements and then work with the systems integrator to translate them into well-defined technical specifications.
2. Review and advise on the feasibility of the technical design, highlighting gaps or areas for improvement in line with Bank architecture and security constraints.
3. Act as the Bank technical expert on the design and configuration of Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including Planning, Budgeting, Financial Consolidation, and Reporting modules.
4. Share technical expertise during workshops and training sessions with relevant stakeholders to educate on best practices, functionalities, and capabilities of Oracle EPM Cloud applications.
5. Support data integration efforts between Oracle EPM Cloud and other Bank systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
6. Assist in the migration of existing EPM solutions to the Oracle EPM Cloud platform, providing guidance on data migration and validation processes.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and IT stakeholders, to ensure seamless project delivery and a successful transition into BAU.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the implementation process, working closely with Oracle Support as needed.
9. Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to meet the Bank’s unique reporting requirements.
10. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the Bank’s EPM processes and performance, leveraging Oracle EPM Cloud functionalities.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience (2+ years or a minimum of one full implementation) as an Oracle EPM consultant, implementing and/or supporting Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud.
2. In-depth knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including Planning and Budgeting, Financial Consolidation, and Reporting.
3. Strong understanding of Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting processes.
4. Exposure to EPM Data Integration and Data Management and Business Rules.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
7. Undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
8. Knowledge of other financial systems or ERP platforms.
9. Relevant Oracle EPM Cloud certifications.
