GXO are one of the UK’s largest providers of 3PL transport operations across a variety of sectors. With rapid growth and ambitions to grow further, we’re on the lookout for a Transport Solution Designer to join our dynamic Sales and Solutions team based in Northampton. We’re looking to offer a competitive salary and package, which will be discussed further during telephone interview. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Provide thorough and experienced support in data analysis, transport solution design, proposal preparation and presentations
- Work independently on transport design projects whilst supporting multiple projects, varying in scale and complexity
- Gather and analyse information from current and potential contracts in order to create a cost effective and operationally-sound solution that can be presented to the customer within time limits
- Help lead the way in developing low CO2 transport solutions for our customers via alternative fuels or using our bespoke AI transport schedule optimiser.
What you need to succeed at GXO
- You’ll be confident in communicating with customers or internal stakeholders
- Experience in data analysis and use of supporting tools is essential
- You’ll either have experience of working with transport modelling tools (Paragon is preferred) or very strong data skills with a desire to learn about transport and transport planning.
- Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
