This is a unique opportunity to shape a slate of highly creative and commercially viable feature film projects taking them from early development, through financing, production to delivery.

THE COMPANY

Our client is an award-winning entertainment company which crafts globally successful stories across film & television.

THE ROLE

As the Head of Film, you will partner with top creatives and financiers to develop, fund and produce a standout collection of feature films.

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for the division, ensuring a strong pipeline of commercially and creatively viable projects.
  • Build key relationships with financiers, sales agents, distributors, and studios whilst collaborating with top talent to deliver high-quality films.
  • Oversee financial management, structuring deals, managing budgets, and maximising revenue potential.

The position will require weekly visits to Scotland (or relocation).

THE PERSON

With extensive experience as an independent film producer, you will be exceptionally strong at balancing creative vision with commercial success, ensuring projects are both artistically engaging and financially viable.

A proven track record in film finance is essential, as is extensive experience structuring and securing funding for film projects, including through international, UK, and US financing models, sales, and distribution.

You should have exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills and a strong network of key industry contacts.
