Support Workers – SEN School in Southampton – September start!

Academics recruiting on behalf of a 'Good' SEN School based in Totton, Southampton who are looking for an experienced Support Workers to join their support team in September.

They cater for children from the age of 2-19 years with moderate, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, MLD, SLD, PMLD.

The school is set over two sites which are a mile apart and split into early years/primary and secondary/further education.

Due to the needs of the students, they are looking for a Support Worker who is happy to carry out feeding and personal hygiene duties when needed.

This Support Worker position is suited to someone who loves working with children with special needs and enjoys getting stuck in. As many of their needs are severe, you will be involved in creating a fun and safe learning environment for their pupils and carry out various activities such as floor work, arts and crafts, swimming etc.

This is a full-time, ongoing Support Worker role starting in September. For those looking for a permanent position, they also offer temp to perm contracts.
