Project Manager

I am currently looking for a Project Manager with an engineering background to start at a client in Runcorn on a permanent basis. Salary on offer is £50,000 - £55,000 per annum with benefits.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all assigned projects assuring that they remain under control reporting monthly on Progress, Risk, Opportunities, Cost to Complete (CTC), Forecast Cost at Completion (FCAC), Margin, etc.
• Manage project changes balancing commercial coverage and customer relationships whilst identifying opportunities to enhance margin performance.
• Lead internal and, where required, external meetings and manage Rolling Action Item Lists (RAIL) to ensure that project issues, customer requests, and actions are completed by the project team in a timely manner.
• Assume customer point of contact for day-to-day communication.
• Manage external suppliers to deliver where they are utilized on assigned projects.
• Create and manage schedules in Microsoft Project providing timely updates to customers as required.
• Ensure Risks and Opportunities are managed.
• Co-ordinate with the Operations Director to identify resource demands and capacity constraints across the business.
• Support Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for new projects.
