Quantity Surveyor (Estimating Duties) Mainly office based role for an Estimator & Quantity Surveyor located within a sensible commuting distance of North Greenwich. The successful individual will be responsible for all day-to-day tasks associated with estimating, Multiple small to medium project cost control, BOQ production, cost management and monitoring, cost planning, monthly cost reporting and client billing. Duties and Responsibilities * Initial meeting with client and assessing project scope * Producing accurate measures & take offs for projects * Producing estimates & tenders for new projects * Produce and update procurement schedules for all projects * Prepare the required documents to issue to subcontractors to enable them to tender effectively for works packages * Identify appropriate subcontractors for all aspects of works * Prepare client cost reports and billing * Manage and monitor variations and changes * Assist in the financial appraisal of new opportunities * Work closely with architects and other professionals * Navigate and understand building regulations & codes * Process project paperwork and travel to sites as required * Monitor costs and expenditure across the construction process Job Requirements * Experience of managing cost on projects within industrial and commercial sectors * Skills in Estimating, Cost Control, BOQ, Cost Management, and Cost Forecasting and Planning * Experienced working within a p…
