Do you have the skills and experience to help them achieve their full potential? Our school in the North of Birmingham is seeking a teaching assistant to support children who have SEN.Your new role This role will involve supporting individual children or small groups of children to access personalised learning, while supporting our whole school value of inclusion. They are looking for a dedicated practitioner with experience of working with children with SEND as well as General Teaching Assistant needs. A good standard of spoken and written English is essential, as is a good standard of numeracy. You may be based in the school’s hub, where pupils who find it difficult to manage in larger groups have their lessons. This is a full-time, long-term role which is to start immediately.What you’ll need to succeedYou will need to have a Level 3 for teaching assistant or equivalent qualification and recent experience working in a school setting; it would be advantageous if you have prior experience working with children with SEND.
