What you'll be doing:
- Drive to different locations throughout your day.
- Work as part of the team or on your own.
- Using Streets Cleansing Carts and barrows as and when required.
- Take part in snow removal and gritting when required.
- Carry out any of the following street cleansing functions: Litter picking, scraping away weeds and detritus, digging out channels, manually sweeping and shovelling silt, cleaning dog mess, removing flyposting, removing graffiti, emptying litter and dog bins and removal of fly tipped waste.
- Completing relevant paperwork in real time.
- Responsible for the daily inspection and reporting of machinery, before and after usage, including vehicles.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
- To maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly members of the public.
Your typical working hours are:
- 7am to 3.15 pm
- Monday - Friday
What you'll need to do the role:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Clean drivers licence desirable for all staff.
- Previous relevant experience desirable.
