Are you a skilled Maintenance Handyperson looking for a dynamic, mobile role? Join a leading FM service provider, covering multiple high-profile commercial buildings across Greater London. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in general building maintenance, repairs, and compliance tasks, looking to work in a fast-paced environment with a stable and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Building Maintenance & Repairs
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across various sites.
  • Perform general fabric maintenance including carpentry, painting, decorating, and plastering.
  • Fix and replace locks, handles, doors, furniture, ceiling tiles, and flooring.
  • Conduct minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, unblocking sinks, and replacing taps.
  • Assist with basic electrical maintenance, including changing light fittings, replacing sockets, and resetting circuit breakers (non-certified work).
  • Ensure fire doors, fixtures, and fittings are in good working order and compliant with regulations.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Perform weekly and monthly compliance checks including emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
  • Conduct water temperature monitoring, flushing, and basic Legionella prevention tasks.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with HSE regulations and site safety protocols.
  • Maintain and complete logbooks, job sheets, and work reports accurately.

Client Interaction & Operational Support

  • Work closely with site managers, FM teams, and contractors to deliver high-quality service.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring minimal disruption to occupants and clients.
  • Identify and report potential issues or improvement opportunities within buildings.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a Maintenance Handyperson / Fabric Technician role within commercial FM.
  • Strong skills in basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, and general building maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of H&S regulations, compliance checks, and risk assessments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks across multiple sites.
  • Full UK driving licence (Company Van & Fuel Card provided).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
