Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an experienced Financial Analyst to join a successful business in Bridgend. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reconciling the Sales & Expenses of all Web & Platform Sales across all of their worldwide brands.
- Reconciling Bank to Daily/Weekly/Bi-weekly Disbursements.
- Checking and submitting VAT on a Monthly & Quarterly basis for multiple countries in relation to Amazon VAT Service Provider.
- Supporting the Platforms Department to ensure correct verification information is submitted when setting up or updating platforms.
- Providing Reporting on Sales, costs, margins etc.
- Continually developing internal processes.
- Meeting month end deadlines.
- Supporting with Annual Audit.
- Supporting the finance team/company with ad-hoc tasks and projects as necessary.
Experience
- Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience of dealing with a very high volume of transactions.
- Experience of Shopify and Amazon.
- Ability to resolve and reconcile issues using own initiative by identifying sources of errors, making retrospective corrections and ensuring that appropriate changes are put in place to prevent reoccurrence.
- Confident in using Excel and other Microsoft Applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
- Good organisation and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of financial controls and accounting standards.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be advantageous.
