This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in working with children, particularly in educational settings, to provide valuable support to students of all abilities. Starting in January 2025, this full-time role will involve both general classroom support and one-to-one assistance for children with SEN, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development., * Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

  • Provide tailored one-to-one support for children with autism and other special educational needs.

  • Ensure students’ care and supervision during classroom activities and school events.

  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

  • Help implement and follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of students.

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other SEN.

  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and colleagues effectively.

  • Knowledge: An understanding of SEN practices and principles is highly desirable.

  • Passion: A genuine commitment to helping children learn, grow, and reach their potential.
