A thriving secondary school in Barking and Dagenham, operating across multiple sites, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team.
Graduate Teaching Assistant – The Role

Work closely with SEN and lower-ability pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing both 1:1 and small group support

Assist subject teachers in lesson preparation, delivery, and maintaining a positive classroom environment

Encourage and motivate students, building confidence and helping them engage with learning

Support the academic and emotional development of students, promoting independence and resilience

Bring creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom – making learning accessible and enjoyable for all pupils
Graduate Teaching Assistant – Requirements

A degree (or equivalent qualification)

Prior experience working or volunteering with children or young people (school, youth work, tutoring, mentoring etc.)
