At Chronos Energy we are looking for a Programme Manager. Our client is an independent heat network developer and advisor to Local Authorities building heat networks. The Programme Manager will be managing multiple projects and working closely with the Project managers to ensure project schedules are maintained and monitored to an exceptional standard. Roles and Responsibilities: Working closely with Project Managers ensuring each project’s detailed activity schedule is built accurately, reflecting ongoing programme changes and providing meaningful insight across the business Communicating and engaging with internal and external stakeholders Help to meet project deliverables on time and within budget Establishing and maintaiing project management standards, processes and templates across the project lifecycle. Adhering to established best practices and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) Plan and co-ordinate technical, commercial, financial and legal workstreams Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to refine project management practices Establishing project performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress, budget, and timelines Skills and Experiences: Relevant qualification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile or equivalent) and/or proven experience of project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools. Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to guide and mentor project managers, lead a team, and make decisions at the strategic level Willingness to learn new skills and develop an excellent working knowledge of the business and sector.
