Job Title: Service Engineer Compressed Air Based out of Suffolk location Starting Salary Depending on Skills and Experience. Thereafter, reviewed periodically and dependant on company performance. Bonus Scheme Share of 1% compressor parts and pipefittings sold between engineers, paid quarterly in arrears after 6 months successful probationary period to allow for time to become fully operational. Candidate Profile: Our client is seeking a suitable candidate with mechanical engineering experience , from the likes of working in factories on maintenance or maintenance of farm equipment, vehicles etc, someone who can take a machine apart, take an engine out or identify a motor fault. We really need a minimum of a level 2 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, ideally with some electrical diagnostic skills as well, which would be a real advantage. Purpose of Job; To provide on/off site service /repair/ installation of Compressed Air Equipment Service Engineer – Compressed Air East Anglia We are looking for an experienced Engineer to join our clients successful team a leading supplier of compressed air solutions in East Anglia. The ideal candidate must have sound engineering skills, good communication skills, be a team player and willing to learn new skills and work in the field of compressed air products. You do not have to be an existing compressor engineer as we will provide training. Duties & Responsibilities- brief overview: Carry out planned maintenance on air compressors and compressed air systems. Attending equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, identify parts needed and complete repairs. Complete relevant paperwork in detail, ensuring it is clear, accurate and legible. New I.T handheld devices being introduced soon. Providing the highest standard of care for our existing and new customer bases -A varied and interesting role including, service, repairs and installations -Monday to Friday with 8-5pm core hours, with out of hours call outs as may be required. Overtime payable. Candidate Profile: Our client is seeking a suitable candidate with mechanical engineering experience , from the likes of working in factories on maintenance or maintenance of farm equipment, vehicles etc, someone who can take a machine apart, take an engine out or identify a motor fault. We really need a minimum of a level 2 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, ideally with some electrical diagnostic skills as well, which would be a real advantage. Previous mechanical/pneumatic experience carrying out maintenance on vehicles, plant/farms and/or factory systems. Ideally some knowledge of Air Compressor equipment Mechanical / Electrical experience and qualifications,minimum of alevel 2 qualification in mechanical or Electrical engineering is required. Full UK Driving Licence. Able to use own initiative as well as working as part of a team. Good communication skills. Able to work alone, under pressure and as part of a team – Training and development opportunities – Full time permanent role – Company sick pay scheme – Pension Scheme – Tool and Clothing allowance -Company Van Holiday 20 days increasing to 25 days after first 12 months.
