Opened in October 2015, Hilton London Bankside represents the next generation of design-led Hilton Hotels. Each part of the property has been carefully created to reflect the fascinating history and ambiance of the surrounding area, combining the authentic urban grittiness and polished contemporary design. The hotel also includes one beautiful penthouse apartment which boasts its own private roof terrace, a 100m2 entertainment area and views across the London skyline. In addition, the hotel brings a new neighbourhood eatery, OXBO Bankside to the area, alongside The Distillery, a cool and casual bar. The hotel also features Bankside’s largest and most exquisite Ballroom accommodating up to 700 guests theatre style or 500 in a banquet setting. Job Description Assist in enquiries from the Civil Police or other government departments and law enforcement agencies in the absence of Security & Risk Manager. Assists to protect Hotel property, colleagues and guests by identifying / observing any suspicious activities and dealing with them accordingly ensuring that the security manager or Manager on Duty are informed at all times. Ensure that all Security and Hotel record systems are maintained in the manner instructed by the Security & Risk Manager. Performs all other related duties as directed by Security & Risk Manager. Respond immediately and investigate all Fire Alarm activations in accordance with the Hotel fire procedures. Understand and use of CCTV system. Assist in the Training of all hotel staff members as required. Full knowledge of DDA alarms and panic alarm system. Adhere to any reasonable request from any member of the management team or Managers on Duty. Conduct and/or supervises investigations into reports made on fire, cases of theft and incidents and thereafter to submit the investigation reports to the Security & Risk Manager without unwarranted delay. Ensure that all hotel team members abide by the hotel’s policies in place.
