About the Role: We're seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team at SimplifyVMS, a leading global SaaS provider of contingent workforce VMS solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our integration platform.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining our infrastructure
- Collaborating with technical leadership to ensure performance at scale
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in developer operations in a SaaS environment
- Experience with AWS, especially EKS and networking
- Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible etc.)
- Experience with Kubernetes and awareness of its strengths and weaknesses
- Centralised logging using tools like Grafana/Prometheus/Loki
- Experience with ArgoCD (or similar), for automated configuration of Kubernetes clusters via repository
- Experience with PHP, Redis, RabbitMQ, Websocket servers
