About the Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll work across primary, secondary, and SEN (Special Educational Needs) schools in Ware, supporting teachers and helping pupils achieve their potential. Whether you’re assisting in a vibrant classroom, one-to-one sessions, or in small group settings, your role will be vital in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities of a Supply Teaching Assistant

• Provide classroom support to teachers across a range of age groups and abilities.
• Assist pupils with their learning, including those with additional needs.
• Create a nurturing and engaging environment to support academic and personal development.
• Adapt to various school environments and be proactive in meeting the needs of each setting.
• Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people (classroom experience is a bonus but not essential).
• A passion for education and making a positive impact on students’ lives.
• Flexibility to work across primary, secondary, and SEN schools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A willingness to adapt and learn in different educational settings.
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
