Are you a Maintenance Technician, Muti Skilled Maintenance Technician or Apprentice Trained Maintenance Engineer Leading Hand or Supervisor? Do you have experience with maintaining Site or machinery for manufacturing or similar large complexes? Do you know the technical and logistical requirements to carry out maintenance of either Electrical & Mechanical Site Services or Machinery from hands on experience? 2 Roles available 1st role Rotating Shift , 2 weeks 6.30am 3.00pm, 6.30 12pm Fri, then 2 weeks lates 1.30pm 11pm, Mon Thurs (20% uplift) 2nd role Days – 6.30am 3.00pm Mon Thurs, 6.30 12pm Fri (no uplift) Based just outside of Leicester (around 15 Mins from M1 Leicester Forest Junc.), Please read on! We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a maintenance technician & specialist They are looking for an experienced maintenance technician or engineer to assist with the upkeep & support of site services or machinery & plant. You will support facility breakdowns or machinery breakdowns and other wider scale projects using fault diagnostics techniques Required skills, qualifications and experience Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and or Qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Multi-skilled in either or both Electrical and Mechanical disciplines Ability to Carry out day to day maintenance activities, reactive & PPM Duties Experience or qualifications for working to health and safety standards/regulations Qualifications/Experience in fault finding of factory machinery or machinery systems Key Skills Level 3 (Or equivalent Qualifications) Desired skills, qualifications and experience (not essential, just beneficial) BS 7671:2008 IEE 18/19th Electrical Regulations BS 7671:2008 Inspection and Testing of Electrical installations Qualifications/Experience in Calibration of instrumentation Qualifications/Experience in Laser alignment of rotating equipment The role is deemed inside IR35 so will be paid either through an FCSA Approved Umbrella company (£23.50 – £26.00ph) or alternatively paye (£18.50 – £19.50ph) This is a long term ongoing contract (min 12-24 months, highly likely to be longer).
