MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious company in the Byker area of Newcastle. The role would see you carrying out general duties, including wrapping, basic quality inspection, picking and packing, and potential heavy lifting.
The Role
- Picking and packing products daily
- Using in house computer systems, printing off picking list and updating systems
- Visual quality inspections, making sure all products meet correct specifications
- Loading and unloading artic delivery trucks by hand and conveyor systems
- Making up and prepping boxes for delivery
- Dealing with bespoke customer orders and following tight deadlines
- General warehouse duties including moving, packing and dispatch
- General housekeeping duties, making sure own area is clean and tidy
The Person
- Must have recent experience of working within a warehouse environment
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Flexible attitude towards working times and overtime
- The ability to use and update computer systems
- Must be willing to work and be flexible to working hours
The Shifts
- Dayshift to start with but then moving to a two shift.
- 06.00am – 14.00pm
- 14.00pm – 22.00pm
The Pay
- £11.44 per hour - Day Shift
- £12.57 per hour - Early Shift
- £13.15 per hour - Back Shift
