Support Material Handler

Support Material Handler\\nNewcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear\\n£12.21 per hour\\nAn opportunity to join an exciting organisation as a Support Material Handler.\\nThe purpose of the role you will be responsible for effective execution of tasks of unloading / loading, receiving, storing and issue of goods in a modern manufacturing environment.\\nMain Duties & Responsibilities:\\n * Unloading/ loading of goods for despatch with FLT or crane\\n * Paperwork requirements and the essential nature of documentation\\n * Marking of goods to retain traceability through the process\\n * Movement of goods to ensure no disruption to the production process with FLT or crane\\n * Storage of goods ensuring location information is fed back to update the system\\n * Packaging of goods for internal and external movement ensuring any customer specifications are followed and no damage can be done in transport\\n * Any other duties as reasonably requested by your line manager or a member of the senior leadership team.\\n * Inventory management / cycle counting\\n * Order Kitting\\n * Movement of material between operations\\nQualifications, Skills and Experience:\\n * Forklift Counterbalance Licence essential\\n * Crane Operations Certificate desirable\\n * A reasonable standard of education is required, with IT skills, key will be attitude.\\n * An interest in logistics, purchasing and supply chain operations.\\n * The ability to interact with people at all levels within/external to the Company\\n * The ability to follow instructions but also be able to self-prioritise workload\\n * Must be prepared to work flexibly as part of a team.\\nCompetitive remuneration package offered.\\n£12.21 per hour depending on experience (Additional overtime available)\\nIf you feel that you have the necessary skills and experience, we would like to hear from you
